Questions about a painting, the wait, or a tip?

How the wait works
Give Sloptina an idea, or tap Surprise me and she’ll pick her own. She paints it right on your iPhone, then shows you the result after a random wait of about 15 minutes to 3 hours. The studio tells you roughly when it’ll be ready.
Watch her work or leave the app, whichever you like. If Sloptina is open when the time is up, the reveal appears by itself. If you’re away, a notification lets you know it’s ready. Changed your mind? Never mind, scrap it… cancels the painting.
Paint on days in a row to build a streak. At 3, 7, 14, 30, 60, 100 and 365 days, your next painting gets a small head start. The calendar in the gallery shows your painting days.
Nothing showing up?
If notifications are off, she can’t tell you when a painting is ready. Turn them on in Settings → Notifications → Sloptina. The studio shows a reminder with a Settings button while they’re off.
The very first painting on a phone can take a minute or two longer while the painting model gets itself ready. She may also take a short break while your iPhone is very warm or in Low Power Mode. If the wait is over and the painting still isn’t finished, open Sloptina and she’ll finish it there.
Keep some free storage, too. The app is about 1.1 GB because the painting model lives inside it, and every painting is saved on your iPhone.
Tips and purchases
The tip jar is optional. A cookie takes 20 minutes off the current wait, bubble tea takes an hour off, and fancy brushes skip the rest of the wait, so the painting is ready as soon as the paint is dry. A treat bought while nothing is painting is saved for the next painting. A pricier treat that wouldn’t save more time than a cheaper one is hidden.
Tips are used up when you buy them, so there’s nothing to restore. Apple processes every payment; for a charge you don’t recognize or a refund, use Apple’s Report a Problem. Deleting the app does not refund a tip.
Meet the artists
Sloptina has two cousins who love a turn at the easel: Sloptino, from the Bronx, and Sloptinx, a dreamy night owl. Each has their own look, voice, room and app icon.
Tap the Artists button (the two little people) at the top of the studio to choose who paints. The app icon changes to match, and iOS shows a short notice when it does; that’s expected. Every painting remembers who painted it.
Saving, sharing and stickers
When a painting is revealed, or later from the gallery, you can save or share it. Save to Photos asks only for permission to add photos. Share offers a share card, just the painting, or a sticker cut from the painting.
Sloptina’s iMessage app sends your paintings and stickers in Messages. Home Screen widgets show the current painting or a rotating gallery. An optional Live Activity keeps the wait on your Lock Screen; it’s off until you turn it on and never shows the painting.
Saved and shared images are labeled as AI-generated in their file details. They carry the painting’s title, never your idea.
Something went wrong?
If a painting fails, she tries again by herself a few times. If she still can’t finish it, tap Try again to start it fresh. For anything else, email the support address above with your iPhone model, iOS version, and what happened. Never send your Apple password or payment-card details.
If a painting isn’t nice, tap This one isn’t nice… on it. It’s deleted straight away, and you can choose to email us about it. Ideas that aren’t nice are declined before she starts.
